This tin was love at first sight for me. Made in the 1920s for a company that made ice cream cones in the Bronx on Tiffany Street. It is very large and once held 300 cones. I think that it has been sold but I am sad to see it go.
I just acquired an awesome collection of antique tobacco tins. They make me wish that I still smoked. Some still have the tobacco (very stale) inside. At least I can still enjoy the great graphics. I will be bringing some to the flea this weekend at One Hanson.
